The Scoop On Our Corned Beef Hash

Corned beef hash. What is it exactly? Where does it come from? Why is it so freaking good? Today we are here to tell you a little about one of our customers’ favorite breakfast dishes and what makes it so appetizing!

This delicious breakfast item was originally created in Northern England as a traditional quick and cheap dish. Ingredients were not expensive so this dish was extremely popular during WWI & WWII. Corned beef has recently made a huge comeback and is served now in restaurants worldwide.

The usual ingredients include diced meat, potatoes and spices mixed together. But here at Harbor Docks, we try to spice it up for you just a little. Our dish is combined with corned beef topped with crisp hash browns. On top of that are two over easy fried eggs and hollandaise sauce. YUM!

This is one of our customer’s favorite items on the menu and we love it too. And for all you dedicated corned beef hash lovers, national corned beef hash day is on September 27th.
